Yes, some functionality against all kinds of tools running in the background which might be used for screen recording is still planed for SEB 2.1.

SEB listens for the background process (daemon) for screen sharing to start and locks the screen in the exam in this case. That’s all what SEB can currently do to prevent that screen sharing is used for cheating.

SEB also sets a Windows environment variable which disallows remote desktop connections, I guess TeamViewer doesn’t respect that. Those remote desktop solutions which still work could only be stopped with the prohibited processes monitoring.
