Most Introverts, and especially Intuitive Introverts, find it really hard to trust people. INFJs typically have trust issues because at some point, they’ve placed their trust in someone and have had that trust broken. This doesn’t just make them feel vulnerable. It strikes at the very heart of their value system.

Can Infj be toxic?

The INFJ’s light burns brightly. Unfortunately, this means they often attract toxic or emotionally needy people. Unhealthy INFJs allow these people — and the chaos they bring — into their lives. They may make excuses for other people’s bad behavior.

How do you get an Infj to trust you?

Basically, to win an INFJ’s trust you must be honest, kind and understanding. If they truly feel that you are a good person without any hidden motives, they will automatically trust you. You have to be patient with them as it takes a lot of time for that level of trust.

How do you say sorry to Infj?

Very few people apologize to INFJs….Just be honest and direct by stating “I am truly sorry for” :

  1. What you think or feel you did or said.
  2. Why you did or said it ( if you are aware ).
  3. How you think or feel it hurt their feelings.
  4. That you promise not to do or say it again.
  5. How you plan to make ammends ( if necessary )

Will INFJ forgive?

INFJs often struggle with forgiveness, especially when someone has hurt them multiple times. They will usually forgive someone over and over again, until they cannot take it any longer. Once an INFJ has reached this point, they have a hard time letting go of their grudge.

Are INFJs apologetic?

INFJs are definitely capable of apologizing and might even do it a bit too much. When they care about someone they can take a lot of blame upon themselves for not doing things perfectly for them. INFJs might apologize if they feel like they aren’t doing enough, and become extremely hard on themselves.
