How can I get admission in Singapore Management University?

Eligibility Criteria

1. Candidates must hold a Bachelor Degree, a minimum of three years, in any stream (engineering, social sciences, sciences, arts, etc.)
2. You can apply through one of the following Aptitude test scores – GMAT/ GRE/ CAT/ SMU AT;
3. For English proficiency – TOEFL or IELTS.

How do you get admitted to SMU?

The average GPA at SMU is 3.64. With a GPA of 3.64, SMU requires you to be above average in your high school class. You’ll need at least a mix of A’s and B’s, with more A’s than B’s. You can compensate for a lower GPA with harder classes, like AP or IB classes.

Does Singapore Management University require SAT?

Standardized Test Requirements Official SAT or ACT scores. SMU does superscore the ACT and also accepts self-reported test scores. Please note SMU does not require the SAT essay or the ACT writing test.

Applicants must also apply to have their official test scores sent directly to SMU by the testing agencies. You can apply to do when registering for these tests. Please do so early to avoid delay in application processing.

What are the acceptable Polytechnic diplomas for admission to SMU?

For the purpose of admission, SMU will consider acceptable polytechnic diplomas (except Advanced Diplomas/Specialist Diplomas/Certificate Courses) from the 5 Polytechnic institutions in Singapore (Nanyang Polytechnic, Ngee Ann Polyechnic, Singapore Polytechnic, Republic Polytechnic and Temasek Polytechnic).
