Is phone allowed in NDA academy?

Are mobiles allowed for cadets at NDA? No. As per the rules of National Defence Academy, mobile phones are prohibited. There is STD booth and squadron land line phones in the academy which a cadet can use at the time of urgency.

What is taught in national Defence Academy?

In the Compulsory Course, cadets study English, Foreign Languages (Arabic, Chinese, French or Russian), physics, chemistry, mathematics, computer science, history, political science, economics and geography. The NDA stadium was named Bombay Stadium in recognition of the generosity of the erstwhile state of Bombay which gifted 8022 acres of land at Khadakwasla for housing the Academy. The construction of the stadium was completed on 20th July, 1959 at a cost of Rupees three lakhs.The velvet turf of the stadium offers a high quality cricket ground.
