PPE is indeed a difficult course and as such, you should only apply for it if you truly are passioned about the subjects. You’ll cover three main subjects (philosophy, politics and economics) but how much is dedicated to each one varies from university to university.

Is PPE easy?

And PPE is very hard work. It is not a degree you ‘have a go at’. But there are also a fantastic range of non-academic pursuits to get involved in once you are there; there is a real work hard / play hard approach and it’s an incredibly fulfilling subject for those who have a genuine interest in the topics.
