Well you can skip any grade provide you have enough time and application to reach the standard, normally to go from 5 to 7 in 1 year would be pretty difficult but not impossible. Having said that I went from Gr6 piano to ‘A’ dip in 2 years and Gr6organ to Gr 8 in about a year and a term.
