Books 2 U encourages children to read for personal enjoyment and to become library users. Library staff and volunteers bring high-interest paperbacks to classrooms and other sites that serve children. During their visits, they present short, high-energy “booktalks” designed to excite children about the paperbacks.
What is the importance of books to us?
Books play a quintessential role in every student’s life by introducing them to a world of imagination, providing knowledge of the outside world, improving their reading, writing and speaking skills as well as boosting memory and intelligence.

Books can give us knowledge by encouraging us to think. Books can also give us knowledge through the experience of reading. Many people feel that when they read a book, especially works of fiction, they interact with “another world.” Reading books gives us the opportunity to learn through vicarious experience.

Books help to inspire students to do hard work with courage and hope. They enrich the experience of students and sharpen their intellect. There are many benefits of Reading books; students will get more knowledge, improve memory and build more vocabulary.

Reading develops our brains and gives us the ability to understand life in a much better fashion. When you read a lot, you learn new words all the time. Not sure how many readers will agree but I firmly believe books can go more in-depth than a movie can.

Books play a significant role in our life. A book is like a best friend who will never walk away from you. Books are packed with knowledge, insights into a happy life, life lessons, love, fear, prayer and helpful advice. One can read about anything under the sun.
Why do I love books?
They’re an opportunity to ‘see how the other half lives’ and view the world as someone other than yourself experiences it. Books help us fight off ignorance, gain perspective, learn something new, or just plain entertain us.

Also, just like our best friends, good books cheer-up our mood and soothe the soul, sometimes even making us laugh out loud.
