What are the best freshman dorms at Penn State?

You can sign up for the apartments through eLiving just like a normal dorm or suite. I lived in Nittany Apartments sophomore year because it was a great bridge between living in the dorms as a freshman and living off-campus as an upperclassman.

Log in to www.eLiving.psu.edu and select the Shopping Cart icon. Your invitation will be displayed, and you will be able to view all housing options that have space available. Not all options may be available, based on other students selecting the space. Select the housing option you desire and click ‘Continue’.

The dorms at Penn State aren’t horrible, but they aren’t great either. Most of them are old and just worn down. There is a decent amount of storage space, just not a lot of closet space. Sharing a space with another person is hard, because these rooms don’t have a lot of extra room.
