What is the story of Ori?
The voice of the Spirit Tree in the forest of Nibel narrates the story of when Ori, a guardian spirit, fell from it during a storm as a newborn and was adopted by a creature named Naru, who raised Ori as her own. Newly orphaned, Ori is left to explore the forest on their own.

Why does Ori become a tree?
What happens to Ori? To take control of the light, Ori gives up his existing life and becomes one with the light. In doing this, Ori becomes the new spirit tree. In the following years, his spirit grows strong as his found family grows old around his trunk.

Ori is a small white creature with a similar stance to a human or a bunny and has a cat-like tail and large black eyes with white pupils.
