Yes! All of our ice cream containers should either have a plastic ring seal around the lid, OR a foil seal underneath the lid.

Breyers ice cream boxes are sealed but there’s no plastic liner on top of the ice cream under the lid, at least, not here ( Canada). The lid won’t come off until you break the plastic security strip on the lid and strip it off the package. Then the lid is free to come off and go back on afterward.
