How do you use Pronto?
Just use your PRONTO card or the barcode on your phone to ride. NOTE: Physical PRONTO cards and virtual cards on the PRONTO phone app are not interchangeable. They act as separate cards. When you ride, the one-way fare will be deducted from the card you use – physical or virtual on your phone.
How do I pay transport over the phone?
To pay on public transport, simply unlock your phone – no need to open the app*, then hold the back of your phone to the fare reader upon entry and exit. The blue tick appears and you are on your way!

As you approach a fare gate or board the bus, make sure your device is turned on (it doesn’t need to be connected to a network). Position the top of iPhone within a few centimeters of the contactless reader at the transit gate until you see Done and a checkmark on the screen.
