Yes, absolutely. The Ecoboost Mustang is a great daily driver. If you find a stock or mildly modified one in good shape it should serve you well. As with any used car, make sure to get a pre-purchase inspection from a mechanic to make sure it’s not going to have any problems.

If left stock, yes… The EB is pretty quiet. However, when I start my EB with the Magnaflow Competition Cat-Back, it’s pretty loud… If that’s your concern with getting a GT, then get the Active Exhaust.

Is the EcoBoost loud?

It includes four selectable modes, such as Quiet when we don’t want to bother our neighbours, Normal, Sport and Track. The latter two are obviously louder, and at wide-open throttle, the Mustang EcoBoost sounds like a very angry weedwhacker.
