When we are not living in the moment, we are reliving the past—or fearful of what might happen in the future. Our experiences also shape our beliefs about ourselves. We like to feel like we’re in control… So when something happens that’s outside of our control, it’s often easier to blame ourselves.

We feel bad about the past because it can be daunting, plus, if your mind lingers on in the past it can make you feel worse, like you’re stuck in the past, you just have to try and gradually move on from it and you’ll feel way better, I know its hard but slowly as time goes by it wont be so hard for you, time heals all wounds.
