Is Bavar-373 real?
Iran unveiled Bavar-373 in August 2019. The long-range air defense system is capable of detecting up to 100 targets, tracking 60 of them, and engage with six concurrently. A distinguishing feature of Bavar-373 is its vertical launching system with square launchers, mostly used for air defense on warships.

The country has made a number of claims regarding the performance of its indigenous air defences, and in 2019 Brigadier General Shahrokh Shahram, the head of the Defense Ministry Organisation of Electronic Industries, said the Bavar-373 surpassed the capabilities of the U.S. Patriot and THAAD air defence systems.
