Is shrinking like Ant-Man Possible?
Is shrinking like Ant-Man Possible?
There are literally no floors in our planet which would support such density. Also, even if such shrinking were possible, and it isn’t, the resulting organs would be too small to function. There is a reason ants don’t have lungs. So, the answer is NO!
How does Ant-Man shrink smaller than an atom?
The Pym filter combines Pym particles and atomic filtering technology to shrink air as it is sucked into the suit. So, as long as there is breathable air outside the suit it can be shrunk and brought into the suit allowing Antman an unlimited supply of breathable air.
What would happen if everything shrunk?
Your much smaller atoms and tighter chemical bonds will no longer be able to bond with normal atoms. Oxygen will no longer be small enough to diffuse through the walls of your lungs to reach your blood! Even if it could, it would not properly bond with such tiny atoms and respiration would be impossible.
Can you shrink atoms?
Atoms don’t shrink. The average distance between the protons and neutrons that make up the nucleus of an atom and their surrounding electrons can’t be changed.
What would happen if a human shrunk to the size of an atom?
I believe… that a human shrunk down to the size of an atom is what we in the business call a “black hole” You would experience very little, your body first compressing further into a singularity, then exploding on a scale large enough to wipe out a lot of the rest of humanity, if not all of them.
What would happen if you were at the same scale as atoms?
The big question is what (if anything) you would see if you were at the same scale as an atom. If we assume you’re the size of a single atomic Hydrogen atom you would have a diameter of approximately 1.06 × 10 − 10 m, as defined by the diameter of the spherical electron cloud around the nucleus.
What would happen if you shrinked Your Body?
Your new, smaller size will affect almost every aspect of your biology. For example, if you shrunk be approximately 2.5 cm (1 in) tall, the surface area of your body, through which you lose heat, would decrease about 5,000 times. Your lung area would be 5,000 times smaller, but you could still get the supply of oxygen you need.
What would happen if the Earth was shrinked?
If earth were shrunk to just its matter, with no space between the nuclei, it would be tiny. And if it were shrunk until the surface gravity were the same as what we feel here, 4000 miles from the center of the earth, it would be even less.
