It’s the most complete game ever made. It has the perfect story, entertaining quests, amazing gameplay, stunning graphics, interesting characters, breathtaking music, and everything in between. It’s been many years since the launch of Witcher 3 and I recently started another playthrough of the game.

What is the premise of The Witcher 3?

The game takes place in a fictional fantasy world based on Slavonic mythology. Players control Geralt of Rivia, a monster slayer for hire known as a Witcher, and search for his adopted daughter, who is on the run from the otherworldly Wild Hunt.

As a game and as a story Witcher 3 is very good, nothing makes it outdated in 2021. Definitely. It’s dirt cheap on steam, even the Game of the Year edition. It’s one of the best games I’ve ever played.

Geralt is around 90 – 100 years old. Yennefer is around 110, while Triss is way younger (around 50). Ciri is around 25 in most of the TW3 (except the beginning of course where she should be around 12). Vesemir is around 200.

Why does Geralt lose his memory?

The events which cause Geralt to lose his memory take place before the first game when he got amnesia. She was nearly killed along Geralt’s side as well. The story varies between the two being saved by Ciri and Yennefer saving Geralt and almost dying – and then being saved by Ciri.

Should I do every quest in Witcher 3?

Yes, do all the secondary quests and Witcher contracts! You will end up a little overleveled for the main story missions, but the game shines for its writing, not its combat. Completing the secondary quests allows you to experience more of what makes this game so great.
