ENTPs are normally outgoing people, since being social and interacting with others is important to them. The shy ENTP often struggles with this, and wants to find ways to overcome it. They are very driven people who keep to themselves often anyways, and become drained with too much social interaction.

ENTPs can certainly be awkward at times, especially when it comes to small-talk situations. While they are often outgoing and can also be rather charming at times, ENTPs aren’t really fans of small-talk or conversations which feel bored to them.

ENTPs are natural debaters and so having this sense of self-confidence is often naturally tied into their personalities.

This can make it hard for people to understand them, feeling like they just want to frustrate those around them. ENTPs are often logical minded dreamers, who enjoy allowing their thoughts to wander. This combination can be confusing to people, especially since the ENTP doesn’t often like to fit into social norms. Instead, they want to challenge these things, and don’t like being placed into some sort of box.
