How do I contact RPI admissions?

How much time does it take to complete college application?
The Bottom Line. The college application process starts during your Junior year and can take at least 100 hours to complete. This process includes completing your standardized tests, asking for recommendation letters, researching colleges, writing essays and more.
Can you withdraw a college application?
You must directly contact the colleges to which you have applied to inform them you have been accepted Early Decision at another school and therefore want to withdraw your application. Please contact the Admissions Office at each college and ask what method is best.

We do not have rolling admissions for first-year fall applicants at RPI, so we release decision notifications for each applicant pool on a certain date (see below).

Not only does it take time to read through application files on top of continuing recruiting events with limited manpower in the admissions office, the college itself needs time to plan for the rest of the year.
