Are Rab jackets any good?

very nice jackets and very good quality. I can also recommend the current Rab equipment, just come back from 3 weeks climbing and trekking in Nepal.

Is Rab gear good?

Rab kit is very good. Their sleeping bags lack stitching quality and since taking over Integral Designs and moving manufacture to China, the products have gone downhill in quality. Can’t comment on their clothing apart from their ID gaiters which are garbage compared to the original ID versions.

Can Rab jackets get wet?

Do Rab jackets come up small?

Personally I’d stick with a small, but a medium may work if you’re doing a ton of layering. I’ve had many Rab down jackets & for belay purposes, I’d definitely size up to the large. I find Rab does run a bit smaller/slimmer than other brands. Climbing friend!

Is arcteryx better than Rab?

Arcteryx are better made / designed IMO compared to Rab. They have better detailing on things like cuffs etc. Nothing wrong with Rab at all (I have loads), but Arcteryx is definitely a step up in design / quality. They both will use similar fabrics / materials, so not a big difference in performance.
