Token Monsters can be Tributed for Tribute or Ritual Summon, or for the Special Summon of cards like “Destiny HERO – Plasma”. They cannot be sent to the Graveyard as a cost (such as for the Special Summon of “Arcana Force EX – The Dark Ruler”).

Monster Tokens are monsters that appear on the field as the result of a card’s effect. They are not included in the Deck, and cannot be sent anywhere other than the field, such as the hand or Graveyard. When a Token is destroyed or returned to the hand or deck, they are simply removed from the field instead.

Can you tribute tokens?

Tokens can be successfully Tributed, destroyed, or banished; however, because they simply leave the field, they are not treated as being successfully moved to the hand, Deck, GY, etc.

Can a token be flipped face down Yugioh?

Yes. Monster Tokens cannot be flipped face-down. If an effect tries to Set a Monster Token, then the Monster Token is only switched to DEF Mode (see Card Rulings:Swords of Concealing Light). Token Monsters may be Tributed for a Tribute Summon, unless the effect that Special Summoned them specifically says otherwise.

Are facedown creatures colorless?

A face-down permanent is, by default, a 2/2 creature with no rules text, no name, no subtypes, no expansion symbol, and no mana cost or color indicator (consequently, it is also colorless).
