What happens if your tires rub?

Tire rub can be damaging as it means your wheel will be smashing into the wheel well whenever you hit a bump in the road. Without the proper clearance, your tire will rub against the wheel well and can potentially cause the tire to blow out.

What if my tires are too big?

If your tires are too large, the inside walls will rub against the wheel wells and will cause damage to the body of the vehicle as well to the walls of the tires. This could result in the tires causing severe damage in a matter of months.

Will wheel spacers stop my tires from rubbing?
