Why did KYLO Ren disappear and not Rey?
It seems that with his last ounce of strength, Ben gave what was remaining of his life energy to save Rey. This was his last sacrifice, effectively acting as redemption to return him to the light side of the Force. That is why his body vanished, as Jedi like Luke Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi and Leia did before him.
Was KYLO Ren dead when he saved Rey?
Reddit user IGotADashCam theorizes that Ben/Kylo didn’t save Rey at all. Instead, it was Leia working through her son – that’s why he disappears so quickly after healing Rey. Wait, what? Yeah, it’s a bit complicated, but the gist is that Kylo did actually die when Palpatine threw him into the hole.
Why didn’t Rey become a force ghost when she died?
They do Big Magic and they know it’ll cost them their lives. But not with Rey, because she hadn’t made the choice to go into the Force as the price of what she was doing – she just got killed. There was no intention on her part. So, no vanishing, because that’s a choice for a Jedi.
Why did KYLO disintegrate?
It’s because he has been redeemed. Let’s consider the deaths of Leia, Luke Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi… they all disappeared. As a result of Kylo Ren’s sacrifice, he essentially denounces the evil within him and is restored to the status of a Jedi.
Why isn’t Ben Solo a Force ghost?
Ben Solo’s redemption prior to his death led to his body disappearing, as has been seen with past Force-wielding heroes. However, his role as one half of a Force dyad meant that he was one part of a whole, the other part being Rey. As such, Ben will only appear as a Force ghost when Rey also dies and appears as one.
Is Rey pregnant by Kylo Ren?
She does not have a baby bump, her hand never goes to her stomach to indicate she’s carrying a child, and there wasn’t exactly any time for her to have conceived a child with anyone in the course of the film, including Kylo Ren/Ben Solo.
