  • headache.
  • dry mouth.
  • nausea.
  • constipation.

Can diazepam make you feel sick?

Tell your doctor immediately if any of these highly unlikely but very serious side effects occur: stomach/abdominal pain, persistent nausea, vomiting, yellowing eyes or skin, dark urine, persistent sore throat or fever.

Can Diazepam cause hallucinations?

In severe cases, the following symptoms may occur: derealization, depersonalization, hyperacusis, numbness and tingling of the extremities, hypersensitivity to light, noise and physical contact, hallucinations or epileptic seizures.

The peak effects of diazepam are seen within 1 to 1.5 hours in most people. Diazepam is metabolized to active metabolites and its effects may last for more than 24 hours and extend with repeated dosing as the drug accumulates in the body.

Diazepam may make you feel very sleepy, and this can carry on into the next day. Some people find it more difficult to get to sleep when taking diazepam or may experience nightmares or strange dreams when taking it.
